Good afternoon fellow Tarkov players, ever since the unity 19 upgrade it seems that I have lost anywhere between 15-30 frames on most maps, with woods being the absolute most evident. My PC specs are a RTX 2070 Super, 10700f, and 32GB ram at 3200. On average my fps before the update was 80-100, with a dip to 70 every now and then. On woods lately I have been going anywhere between 55-80 with nothing higher. There have been multiple optimization guides on there that I have followed and nothing seems to work. After seeing it repeatedly said that tarkov really likes Single core CPU's and really disregards multithreading I ended up going into my BIOS and disabling Hyper threading. This has now brought my FPS higher than what it was originally Pre-unity update and am currently getting 80-110. Might be worth a shot for some people struggling that have seen a performance hit since the update.
TLDR: Disabled Hyperthreading in BIOS and getting higher FPS then originally had pre-unity update.
Get equal cpu/gpu utilization now sitting between 80-95%
Might work for some, others might not, easy to do, saw good results.
