I found that the Nvidia filters only worked at random and I snooped around a bit to see how to get the damn thing working. Now I'm too lazy to install older drivers and also don't think it's a good idea.Didn't use Reshade before , especially since Battleye went on a witch hunt against it and it started breaking the game. However, I think that a bit of clarity, HDR and a wee bit of extra vibrance helps me salute the hatchlings in the dark.I'm running a 2080ti @ the latest driver with experimental features enabled and the in-game overlay enabled. Experimental features is not really needed (in theory) in order to get this working. So here are my findings:
What I think is going on is that for some reason Nvidia does not always start a listener service by itself in order to have the game detected as supported. Nikita said it's Nvidia's fault, which it most probably is, but it's really hard to tell from this side of the barricade. However, depending on the driver version that you are on, it might be completely or partially broken. I remember I never had it completely broken because it would run on whatever driver I was on, but only when it felt like it.
I hope this helps someone out there.
