This is a version of the changelog filtered down to only the stuff that impacts gameplay significantly.
NOTE: (Lightkeeper and interacting with the in-raid trader was not mentioned in the patch notes but I expect they want us to find out if that exists from playing)
Big changes:
– rebalancing trading and prices,
– time-gating quests to slow peoples progression
– shooting range is now functional to train on when upgraded (moving targets, training programme)
– Support for AMD FSR 2.1 added means AMD enjoyers can upscale resolution which gives a huge
boost to ability to distinguish enemies at distance
– new sound positioning system is only available on Factory, Customs, Woods and Streets of Tarkov
I AM NOT SURE how sound will work on reserve, labs. (I would expect buggy audio)
Weapon and armour enhancement's have been added
WEAP – increased accuracy and decreased malfunction chance
ARMR – reduce damage taken to the armour
Weapon systems added:
– 40mm AK & 40mm M4 – Under barrel grenade launchers
– SR-2M + P upgrade kit (a basic PDW that plays like an MP7 with MP5 recoil)
– (5.56 Bullpup) AUG A1 + A3 (A3 is the aug with rails everywhere)
– a .50CAL revolver (12.7 is the Russian .50 equivalent)
– Glock 19X (9×19)
Stims added analysis:
– Perfotoran – radiation absorption reduction
– SJ12 TGLab – stops thermals seeing you
– Trimadol – no pain effects (visual)
– PNB – less damage
Offline COOP:
– just more settings
