By no means do I have a bad rig, but tarkov often has poor fps and doesn't feel very smooth.

After looking through many guides and settings to help improve performance, one of the main issues seems to be that tarkov won't recognise your graphics card and utilise it to its fullest unless shadows is cranked up.

I decided to update my driver's and I used geforce experience, which comes with most Nvidia cards. Now I'm not sure if this will work for everyone but when I load tarkov through geforce experience I can adjust my shadows to low, and tarkov seems to recognise my card and it fully utilizes it when I checked.

This has boosted fps in all maps such as reserve and the game feels consistently smooth finally. I know this sounds like a stretch but I thought I'd share even if it only works for one person.
