I feel like not enough people are aware of this. And it's VERY important, could help you find the imp sooner and as an imp, not to make this mistake.

The game only has two "common tasks". On the Skeld it's either fixing the wiring or swiping the card. The whole crew has the SAME one. Everytime. So if you're innocent and see someone doing the one common task you don't have yourself, they are faking it. 100%. The imp can be given the other common task in his fake list though, that's why it's so easy to catch 'em this way.
On Polus it's the key thing and something that has to do with scanning a card, and on Mira HQ I can't remember but also something to so with cards.

Keep that in mind when playing. I caught someone this way yesterday and no one believed me in the chat, but it's 100% true.
