Don’t stress yourself if you can’t play on day one. Don’t stress yourself if you can’t play the first week. It’s not a big disadvantage at all. The average player last wipe didn’t even max out all traders. Statistically last wipe ( 8 months ) only 12% hit level 40+.
And no, having the flea market unlocked as one of the first is also not a huge advantage. In fact – it became even worse with this wipe level requirement.
I had it unlocked as one of the first and believe it or not I LOST money. No joke. I put up items and literally nobody bought my stuff so I lost the fee that I paid.
It’s the same handful people trying to sell each other items they have anyway since they played that much already. It took like a week+ to finally sell consistent items that were not listed for 1h+.
Without liquidation and a high demand a market doesn’t work with so many people trying to sell all their items they saved at once.
If you haven’t noticed it yet – bitcoin is also dumping right now IRL so having a Bitcoin early is not even close as valueable as this wipe. I also kept track of the gear people were running on purpose and I’ve not noticed a big difference until ~2months into the wipe.
I also don’t wanna jinx it but issues on day one are very normal in the gaming industry anyway. It wouldn’t surprise me if there will be a lot of server issues and huge bugs with all the new mechanics and content.
Chill, have a great time, enjoy the new content and don’t stress yourself with the grind. 🙂
