Because of the rarity of the Gas Analyzer, I decided to test the spawn rate on Factory. I decided to test 2 places. One is the boiler room that you need a key to get to(Because the quest says its there), the other is according to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/EscapefromTarkov/comments/ri3le2/how_and_where_to_find_gas_analyzerwith_video_stop/ a gas analyzer should spawn on this thing
Sample size is 25
0 Gas Analyzer in both places
Boiler room: 1 shampoo, 1 nuts, 1 soap, 1 bolts, 1 screws, 1 wires
Car thing: 2 car battery, 1 Rpliers
I originally wanted to do a sample size of at least 50, but in 25, I did not found a single Gas Analyzer, and saw no point in continuing. Seems to me its a regular industrial spawn that does not even spawn stuff a 100% of the time, so no point of farming it there.
Final verdict: Just go interchange, reserve or customs
