Slapped together a small primer of questions to ask yourself when picking a hero in Random Draft to help out anyone that's new to this game mode.

The main thing with Random Draft is that it removes choice and options which makes the team composition even more important as extremes become harder to counter.

• What are the main attributes and attack modes most represented?

ex 1. If the pool is low on meta-favored ranged heroes, kiteable ones like Sven and Ursa become more viable.

• What are the timings of the heroes in the pool?

ex 2. If there's a low representation of hard carries available, consider going early push. If few early game heroes is in the pool, go greedy.

• Does the pool include a hero with no natural counter present?

ex 3. A true jungler like Chen or Engima is available but there's no Enchantress or Bounty Hunter available to punish this.

ex 4. Broodmother or Phantom Lancer is present but little AoE is available in the pool.

ex 5. Weaver is available but few heroes with reliable disables are.
