I wanted to share an idea I implemented in my playthrough, I noticed after you beat a boss, the raid associated with them would end. I didn’t necessarily dislike it, but after beating Yagluth I had a nagging sense in my head there should be consequences for re-slaughtering a people’s King.
So I came up with these Raids with the CustomRaids Mod. More units, stronger units and longer lasting raids that happen to you outside adventuring and at homebase.
The Forest Mourns it’s Elder.
You encounter a Grey raid that has larger numbers, and stronger units. They will attack you in every Biome but the Plains, Ocean, and Ashlands. The background environment matches the Elder fight.
The Undead Rise Again
Like the Swamp Smell, you are bombarded by a larger amount of stronger Draugr, Skeletons, and Blobs. Environment matches Bonemass, they will attack everywhere but DeepNorth, Mountains, Ashlands, and Ocean.
The Horde Seeks Vengeance
More Brutes. Stronger Infantry, double the Shamans. I haven’t figured out good balancing as this one always pastes me. But its fun with godmode. Environment matches Yagluth fight. The Fulings will hunt you down everywhere but the Ocean and DeepNorth.
I also did a fun one for post Yagluth called
The Trolls Have Organized!!
You will understand what the Ground is Shaking means. 5-7 Trolls at a time, usually starred. Every Biome.
I have not beat the Queen yet, so I haven’t thought through a reoccurring raid for the bugs. I also just tinkered to keep the Drake raid ever present, as it is a good source of materials (annoying as it is)
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
