Workbench Range Extenders

There are now four workstations required to craft all construction pieces, and I know I'm not the only one that hates the breaking/recrafting of stonecutters when I'm building a perimeter wall or big structure. It's a major source of friction in the building process, and a big hindrance to the regular repair of city walls. Not to mention having to artfully display and maintain all the workbenches lying scattered around your town.

Personally, I'd love to see some sort of "pylon" construction that comes in around the Silver age. A small, unobtrusive placeable (maybe a battle standard or something similarly vikingish) that chains together and extend the influence radii of connected crafting stations. So as long as you have a stonecutter *somewhere* in your village, and you're in range of one of these connected pylons, you can break, repair, and lay down stonework.

Being able to see all the nearby influence rings at once in the construction UI would also help a lot with finding holes in your city spawnproofing.

What are everyone's thoughts in the idea? Does anyone have any other solutions to this clunky problem?
