A friendly reminder that the best way to gain Federal/Imperial navy rank are passenger rescue missions.

Things to know:

Missions refresh every 20 minutes.
Amount of +++ of REP reward is the factor that contributes to rank progression, not the passenger amount.
When you reach 100% of your current keep going, progress is still counting towards next ranks.
Frontier being Frontier has not removed Fines for loitering landing pads, so you can get fined inside the burning station where there is no redemption office and that's annoying. Duh.

What to equip:

Economy class passenger cabins, they are not picky 😉
1 or 2 Heat Sinks, unless you have a really cool running ship, G5 Thermal Spread powerplant cool.
Shield generator. There are some debris roaming around, and occasional explosions may push you around.
You can buy extra passenger cabin matching size of your fuel scoop and transfer it to Rescue Megaship, or get there scoopless.
Some people also take collector limpets and collect stuff like escape pods etc. for missions on the megaships. I never did that as collecting them inside the station is a bit whacky but it is an option 🙂
