AMD aiming to fix crashing issues with next driver update

Anyone playing with an AMD RX 6000 series graphics card is probably well aware that the latest AMD drivers make ED unplayable by causing a lot of crashes.

Some may have stopped believing in a fix, but finally, AMD has officially acknowledged the issue and is now aiming to fix it with the next update, version 22.10.3!

Listed unter "Known Issues":

  • Elite Dangerous may crash upon launch on Radeon™ RX 6000 series GPUs. [Resolution targeted for 22.10.3]

From the latest driver patch notes found here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/release-notes/rn-rad-win-22-10-2

I hope this little bit of news brings joy to the affected players, given that this issue has been standing for a while now.
