GameFi has the biggest opportunity for growth in Asia, as gamers there don’t hold the same vitriol towards NFTs as they do in the West.
What do you think what's the reason why gamers in Asia are welcoming NFTs?
As I read somewhere, one of the explanations would be that gaming companies in the West have to deal with consumer resistance that gaming companies in Asia do not have to.
But, I would look on the bright side as well, I mean if gamers are not so much into NFTs then there wouldn't be tools for game devs such as Altura or similar stuff that help you include blockchain and NFTs into games.
Blockchain gaming is opening up access to venture capital from Silicon Valley that hasn’t really been tapped before, especially in the context of countries like the Philippines where P2E gaming guilds have become quite popular.
Do you think that as time passes NFTs as game assets would be accepted all around the globe?
