Between game sessions, the galaxy map in Ody is not remembering stuff that Horizons is capable of remembering. Tested the following

All exceedingly irritating, adding to the feeling of death by a thousand little papercuts. I'd add this to the bug tracker, but that too is a thousand papercuts experience.
Love the game generally, but these little things add up and they never get any priority.
The following in the %LocalAppData%Frontier DevelopmentsElite DangerousOptionsPlayerCustom.4.0.misc
file seem to get overwritten by these default values on start of the game – the modified timestamp and contents are changed immediately when the game starts and when the game exits (even if no ingame changes are made)

(whatever that is, can't figure it out, it seems to alternate between 5 and 8 all by itself between each game session)

…and a whole bunch of other XML entries are seemingly randomly reorganised with each start, making it annoying to 'diff'.
