Oh, I'm not coming to get you.
There have been some posts of folks lost in the black wanting to come fight the Thargoids, or people in need of aid, or other services that are provided, and they don't seem to be aware of the DSSA. This is a widely known service by vets, but maybe not by all. So, all, here is your PSA about the DSSA.
In short, the DSSA is a network of organized carrier owners with FCs around the galaxy offering many if not all services from their carriers. This ranges from repair, refuel, data sales (small fee is taken out, but that's the price of safety and convenience) and sometimes even ship sales if I'm not mistaken.
Why is this valuable? Well, you could sell your data at a DSSA carrier before coming back to the Bubble. You could also sell your data, buy a cheap ship, and sidey back to the bubble to fight bugs without having to take the long way. You could base your Exobiology grind around a DSSA carrier and have some peace of mind that you would sell your data before any changes were made to the payout levels (if this even happens). I have used a few of these carriers when traveling back and forth to Ishum's Reach and highly recommend them. (shout out to the Sublime, Nova Blues, and Totoro, thanks folks).
But, CMDR Oh Seven Commander, how could I find these carriers? https://edastro.com/galmap/ If you use the filter on the top right of the screen you can select DSSA carriers. If you wonder about the services available on carrier, I recommend searching for it on Inara.cz to find the services, or at least the owner, and then message them to find out what they're offering.
Try not to die!
