Even with crypto winter and all of the issues we've been dealing with this year, I was surprised to learn that investors have poured over $3 billion into private NFT and blockchain gaming companies.
Crypto winter is not scaring away investors in the burgeoning NFT and blockchain gaming space.
As Web3 hopefuls ride the metaverse hype wave, the blockchain gaming sector, which includes both collectible NFT projects and games built entirely around blockchain technologies and cryptocurrency, is expanding. However, very few of these games have drawn more than a few thousand players, and the mainstream adoption and popularity of these technologies remain uncertain.
Okay, this is, unfortunately, true, and while I enjoy playing these games, I carefully select them, and if you want to play a game with interesting gameplay and quality, you'll have to do some serious digging because there aren't many games like these. The last one that captivated me was WAM, it was quite interesting to me and kept my attention due to all of these fantastic tournaments.
What do you think about the sudden craziness and hype surrounding these games? Do you play them? What are your thoughts on them?
