After nearly two months of Beta testing, EDCoPilot's latest update is now available to all users.
Major changes this release:
Controls panels – Added new panels with buttons to trigger game controls for flight, combat, SRV, OnFoot and Camera. Primarily added for the cockpit / sim pit enthusiast, these panels work great with SpaceDesk (or similar) and a tablet or touchscreen device (SpaceDesk turns the device into an additional touch enabled monitor). (Note: the highlighted buttons in the screenshots require HCS Voicepacks to be installed)
Multi panel enhancements – You can start multiple EDCoPilot UI instances and have them all displaying different panels, and they will update automatically as you play. You can also configure how many UI instances you want to automatically start when you launch EDCoPilot, their positions on your monitor(s), and which panels by default they will display when they start up.
Cloud voice enhancements – For users of Google, Azure or Amazon cloud TTS voices, you can now add a “synthetic” filter effect to your chosen voice, and configure an option so that when you leave your ship the voice sounds as if it is coming over a radio headset.
Discovery Mode (“Auto Honk”) – (requires Voice Attack at present) – you can have EDCoPilot automatically “honk” the system when you jump into it.
