Polkastarter Gaming, a Web3 fundraising platform, produced and held the first-ever GAM3 Awards 2022 to honor 16 different gaming categories, including "game of the year," "best RPG," and even "best content producer."
The tremendous expansion of the gaming industry as a whole is a key component of the bull case for Web3 gaming. For instance, GAM3 was influenced by The Game Awards' mainstream counterpart, whose most recent incarnation, which took place last week, was the most-viewed awards show in history with 103 million people. According to Forbes, The Oscars, the most prestigious film awards program, drew 16.6 million viewers.
I only recently developed a strong interest in NFT games via participating in all these tournaments on Wam, so I'm very forward to seeing what the upcoming year will bring for us and the kinds of games we'll get to play. I enjoy learning about new ones.
