So you have a Frontier account but can't seem to get it to link with steam. Getting authorization errors while linking? Try this method.
In Steam, run game – Game loader will say login in, select this.
Next instead of logging in (which fails)
select create account.
This will open a new browser window, here look on left side there should be a 'login with existing account' box. Select it then login with existing account – Once you login in it should give a window for authorization, follow the instructions there – then the browser will move to a 'redirect' click here screen.
This will not always visually do anything and the user will need to manually return to the steam window where you selected login to create the account. It should now give option of play with choice of version (horizons or oddessey).
Please if this doesn't work, leave a reply and let me know what happened.
[Note] on 'new' purchases of ED on steam it can take up to a day (16-24 hrs) for the account to link the key.
For players who have done this and have issues still, using steam, verify the game files then reboot. This is a previous known fix for after you have linked steam to frontier.
