We address you with great concern and disappointment regarding the unethical conduct of certain players currently participating in the qualifiers for the Dota 2 ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 official tournament. The integrity of esports is crucial for the growth and legitimacy of the industry, and it is our duty to highlight and condemn any behavior that undermines these principles.
The players involved in this complaint are PNKZ and his four teammates currently competing in the qualifiers. The reason for our complaint is that, during their matches, PNKZ has been live-streaming the game on the Twitch platform. This action raises serious questions about their ethics and professionalism in the context of such an important competition like the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023 qualifiers.
Live-streaming matches can provide an unfair advantage by revealing team strategies and tactics to their opponents. This behavior not only goes against the rules set by the tournament organizers but also undermines fair competition and the excitement that should surround these events.
