Our partner had NFT art for 20 soon-to-be in-game characters. To develop the game, we needed concept art optimized for a top-down camera.
Proportions of a front-facing character are not suitable for specific camera angles. In particular, body proportions for a top-down view need to be slightly distorted. You don't want character's feet to be completely obstructed by a big hat, wide shoulders or a massive frame.
Eventually the badass boy named Skinless was properly 3D modelled and implemented into the game along with other characters. So we would like to hear your thoughts about the art π
