Using a Surface Pro or other Windows touchscreen laptop as a touch controller with EDCoPilot

I've Just implemented a new feature to EDCoPilot (free to download) … if you have a second Windows device (example a laptop or a Surface Pro), you can now run the EDCoPilot UI on that and have it connect to the main EDCoPilot process running on your game PC.

It will communicate over TCPIP and is much faster than using SpaceDesk. All functions including the Controls panels (for Flight, Combat, SRV, OnFoot and Camera controls) and course plotting, will work perfectly.

The upside of running the UI on a separate device is that you need never shift focus off your game window to use the UI, to do things like find facilities, commodity markets etc, and select systems from its Bookmarks panel to set course or pull up system information.

See the article here on how to set this up to run on a 2nd device. https://www.razzafrag.com/post/running-the-edcopilot-ui-on-a-separate-windows-device
