Just a little tip if you're looking for suits and on-foot weaponry for your Odyssey shenanigans, and why it works.
Ditch the fuel scoop in your Bubble Bouncer for a while!
So sometimes, if you don't know, the equipment shops in stations and settlements carry pre-upgraded, and sometimes engineered equipment. The thing is, they are only available for one purchase, then it's gone for EVERYONE, in every game mode. I think until weekly reset when the shops restock and there's a chance that another hits the shop.
So I flew myself across the bubble one day, intent on starting a fresh life in a new system. Got some cargo racks on a Hauler and went on my way, foregoing a fuel scoop in favor of more hauling capabilities. This meant I had to stop every handful of jumps to refuel.
This caused me to stop at a lot of random stations, ones nobody would really go to, including planetary and outposts. All or most of these you can disembark on; and if you can disembark, you can shop for that new fit at Space Hot Topic(except at engineers).
I've found that I find upgraded equipment much easier this way, as most of, if not all of the obscure stations are just left alone in terms of disembarking.
So ditch the scoop, and embrace the swoop(on the deals). Keep an eye on your gas Guage, and fly dangerous Commanders!
