WARNING: The new shadow options and AMD CAS settings are always ON/HIGH by default at each restart

EDIT: IF THESE SETTING DO NOT "STICK" BETWEEN GAME LAUNCHES TRY REBOOTING YOUR MACHINE AND TRY AGAIN

[EDIT 2 There is still something weird going on with stickiness of these settings. I think if you exit to menu and your computer resumes from standby the CAS setting gets turned on. If I reboot the computer it will return to an off state]

For people getting massive FPS drops in certain gameplay loops try this… I want to see if it is just me seeing some improvement

  • Turn off AMD CAS thing… it should not be on by default IMO, and only on when you are using supersampling at all
  • There are two new shadow settings – Directional and Spot Shadows I think they are called, both set to high by default, put them to "medium" instead (Note this results in basically no player cast shadows)
