Playing online games that use blockchain technology and often give players non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and tokens as products, awards, or prizes are referred to as "web3 gaming." Web3 gaming is still a young sector, but because of its immutable, secure, and trustless features, it has the potential to transform the game industry.
What the majority of players don't realize is that Web3 gaming doesn't have to be in direct competition with mainstream gaming; rather, they can work together to improve players' overall gaming experiences.
Even Zaynab Tucker, the CEO of Nitro League, and Basma Anwar, the game producer, still like off-chain titles like God of War, Need for Speed, and even Cult of the Lamb. This suggests, in my opinion, that since Web3 is open source and allows for the creation of customized experiences for individual users, that we are all gamers first and foremost.
