The gaming industry has come a long way since the time of arcades. I remember playing Super Mario, then GTA a few years later, which I thought was the height of video gaming at the time with those visuals lol.
I could never have imagined all of these things that we currently have! The gaming business is evolving in terms of improving the game experience.
Indeed, the worldwide gaming business is expected to be valued at USD 314.40 billion by 2026, up from USD 173.70 billion in 2020, with a 9.64% CAGR between 2021 and 2026. If you ask me, it is a significant distinction.
The majority of the credit belongs to technological innovation. The introduction of VR, AI, and AR, as well as its integration with game consoles such as Xbox and PS5, has transformed the gaming experience into something previously inconceivable.
Blockchain and cryptocurrency are already influencing the gaming industry with innovations and utilities that benefit both gamers and gaming firms. A fresh wave of upheaval is on its way. We also have the possibility of the Free 2 Play approach, which is perhaps the greatest, with games like CryptoGene.
As I previously indicated, things have really changed, and we now have these sorts of games where you can even make money while playing them.
What do you find most interesting about the growth of the gaming industry?
