What to know before going to damaged stations

Yesterday 2 stations near Pleiades Nebula were attacked, Gunn Port in Dan system and a station in Nauni system. Now, I know all of you probably want to grind ranks and modular terminals from rescue missions at these locations, but you need to know few things first. On these rescue missions, you're gonna need 3 main things for 2 main tasks.

First task is the simplest one, rescuing people from these stations. Now, I suggest you take your ship (most preferably a medium ship and above) with biggest amount of internal compartments, or just with big compartments (classes 6, 5 and 3) and fill them up with E rated economy class passenger compartments. Do not pick the D rated ones as they have less capacity and going lightweight won't be useful here. Also, do not sacrifice your shield generator for an extra passenger compartment, because there's a lot of debris in the station and something explodes every 30 seconds.

The second task is doing salvage missions, you're gonna need a cargo rack, preferably 64 or 32 in capacity, not less and fill everything else (except the shield generator compartment) with collector limpets. After that, just pick up ALL of the salvage missions (occupied escape pods, damaged escape pods, personal effects and black boxes) besides wreckage components, as they don't spawn that often. I know that picking up all these missions might sound a little crazy, but trust me, if you have at least 32 cargo space, and all limpets, you're gonna fill up your inventory in about 40 seconds or 1 minute.

Another useful thing to know is what factions are there. Well, I must disappoint all the people who are grinding imperial rank to get clipper or cutter, because there's no imperial factions on these two stations, HOWEVER, there is 1 Federation faction in Gunn Port, and this is the only one, because in Nauni system there's no Federation factions.

One last thing is the rewards. If you go to the Gunn Port, first pick the Federation passenger/salvage missions, after that just pick the faction that is in charge of the station and after you do that, just go from the top to the bottom, because higher ranked factions give better rewards. If you're grinding Fed rank, always pick rep as the reward, unless there's no rep, then just pick either credits, engineering materials, or modular terminals as only these things are worth picking. If you're doing these missions for any other factions, just pick money or engineering materials, unless you hang around these systems, then pick rep or influence.

It may seem like rescue missions and salvage missions are boring, but actually they are not. You're gonna get a lot of satisfaction from it, especially if you're grinding Fed rank, I myself have rescued already hundreds of people from that station with my trusty AspX and my Fed rank is probably 3 levels higher than it was before.

Good luck commanders, and I'll see you at Gunn Port.
