NFTs are a relatively new technology that has already seen a wide range of applications beyond the typical NFT application, which is currently primarily used for trading artwork and game characters.
They're a big part of GameFi and Metaverse, and they let people do a lot of cool stuff.
You've probably heard of the NFT lottery, this type of gaming is expected to appear soon on platforms such as BillionAir, backed by a strong token economy, the AIRB utility token, and NFT-based tickets. These can be used to enter raffles, place bets, and win the best skill and chance games.
They are extremely popular in the gaming industry, which is my fav use of NFTs/
However, as far as I can tell, NFT lotteries operate similarly to traditional lotteries, with participants purchasing tickets and then waiting for the lottery draws to begin. The winners will then be selected at random from a pool of numbers based on the number of matching numbers on their tickets.
As you can see, there are plenty of advantages. What's your fav thing about NFTs in the gaming industry?
