I want to get good at tarkov, I've never been this bad at a game with this much time put into it. Games like rust and siege, I put about 800 hrs into rust before I got bored of it and was pretty good. Siege I had about 300 hrs before my friends just gravitated away from it but I was fairly decent and got to gold II or I i honestly forget. Tarkov is just different.
I've played offlines with various streamers that all had somewhere between 2k-5k hours and did fairly well against them because I assume i wasn't nervous. In actual raids I am nervous asf. I don't have gear fear, I run whatever I have with the best ammos I have. Aiming has always been a challenge in eft I get nervous and spooked very easily and I get shakey and spiritic while I aim. Seriously, if you saw clips of me fighting people in offline and then how I play in an actual match, you'd probably think you were watching someone else. I struggle to hit shots when I get shot at and I usually just pin myself and don't notice until its too late. I have no clue why I play so nervously its horrible. I get blinded by flashlights and miss all my shots but when I use a flashlight its like it doesn't even matter and it doesn't affect anyone. I have good comms when I play in a squad. It's like all logical thinking goes away from my brain when I get into a fight and I just get tunnel vision.
I hate ratting and playing with a more camping approach. Its insanely boring. I want to get good at pushing fights but just don't know how. I know rotations, I have good map knowledge for the maps I play. I just choke almost every fight and never seem to hit my shots.
Yall got some good ways to stop getting nervous
