Howdy yall. I have a rig with a 7950x3d, a 4090, 32gbs of ram, and I play on a 1440p monitor. I match this guys specs on YT and he's seen playing @ 240-270 fps on customs which is insane (). The only difference between our builds is the MOBO and RAM brand.
At the same specs I'm running at average 170-185 fps, sometimes jumping to 200, and sometimes dropping to 140-160, but what's consistent is how much my frame rate fluctuates. It jumps from each 180 to 140 to maybe 200 constantly. It's driving me mad that I can't match that guys framerate, the only thing I can think of is people saying their FPS dropped after this wipe.
So my question to yall with a 7950x3d or even a 7800x3d with a similiar GPU, what FPS are you getting in customs? Thanks.
