If a given system is fully explored by you, you should be able to jump directly to any body or station in the system.
Not only would this give a real tangible benefit to scanning systems as you travel about, but it would also feel better as a player. It just makes sense from a sci-fi fantasy point of view.
Also, imagine only dropping into a system at the nav beacon for systems you havent been to before. It would re-enforce the idea that a system is unknown to you as a player. And make exploring that system less of a mechanical task, and more purposeful.
FDev could also implement a new way for players to purchase exploration data of systems. This could create a new money sink for players (for something that gives immediate value), which is good for long term engagement.
And, if selling exploration data to stations becomes more profitable as a result, it would create a new race to fully scan more unknown systems by players. Giving a boost to the "explorer" role by making it more profitable, and helping players target specific areas of the galaxy to explore, rather than just wandering about.
Anywho, just a thought.
