I've only got a couple hours in and it's early access still but it's damn good. Was surprised to not see any talk about it here when I searched.
It feels like they started from Tarkov mechanics and then simplified everything just a bit. The narrative is more Stalker but the main gameplay loop is very Tarkov Casual. Stash/vendors -> pick a map and raid -> extract -> repeat. The weapon and healing mechanics are similar but simplified. Right now dying in raid costs you nothing but time (you just revert to right before that raid) but there is a hardcore mode in development where I think you would actually lose all your stuff.
It's comfy. The audio is incredible. Not much music yet but what is there is really good and vibey.
I don't put a lot of hours into games anymore because I'm old and it's just a lot of intensity I'm too fucking tired for most nights but I could see myself sinking a whole bunch of beer and pizza nights into this one.
