I don't know why but I have been atonished by how committed my opponents have been to winning on even or round 1 in general. Their decks don't even need final say for their deck, or have it against mine. I'm not exactly complaining, because although it can be annoying to lose on even they are doing by playing their most important cards. Like I've had so many warriors matchups recently where they actually do the Jutta and Eist combo in round 1. Why do they need to win on even that badly? I understand why Gord decks need this but it's like every single game I play I'm fighting for my life to win round 1 or I have to pass. Then they all try and go for 2 – 0's too. I'm thinking maybe golden nekker type decks would benefit from this? I mean even syndicate matches I've had, they've been summoning out KoB in round 2 everytime then go into round 3 with nothing.
I'm just confused because it's never felt like this before.
