This is a fairly unconventional post, but I'm looking for assistance on an account of mine.
First off, I own the Edge of Darkness Edition on two different accounts. I'd purchased it for me, and on another account for use by an old friend of mine, though we've since stopped being friends. I haven't played EFT in a long while, and today I wanted to see if I could remember the information to the accounts. I found both of them, one exactly as I'd left it, and the one my friend had used, was banned.
Obviously, anyone who spends 139$ USD on a videogame, you'd think doesn't have any intentions of getting it banned. The ban on this account happened in 2017, around the time we'd stopped being friends. So it begs the question to if he had done something to get banned that way I'd never be able to use it again or get my money back.
Regardless of the how, I'm trying to reach out to battlestate to see if there's a way to remedy the ban and get the account's status reinstated. Outside of the common responses saying "Bet you just got it banned and bought a second account to play it on, probably cheated" or some other childish responses like that, it takes less effort to read and move on than to respond with negativity.
I'll be happy to continue playing on the account i have, but it would be nice to get this account unbanned to either have a backup, or for my girlfriend to play if she wanted to. Having bought the edge of darkness edition already, i'd much rather have it remedied and unbanned than have to buy another copy.
