Check out my canyon running ASP explorer. I switched out the AFMU's for some cargo and repair limpets, hence the 'canyon runner' status. I tend to have too much fun crashing into canyons 50k lightyears from the bubble. I just lost about $50m in exploration data by crashing on a 2.2g planet….
Anyway, almost fully engineered- I get 62 lightyears fully laden (for some reason, Coriolis is not showing the actual max jump for this build). There are some things I have not gotten around to, but I would not expect more than a few extra light years anyway.
I am ready to go out into the black again! This time with the ability to repair the hull at the expense of modules. I don't really do Neutron boosts on these trips, so I figure I will turn around before anything important gets close to 50%.
What do you think of this canyon running explorations build? Any suggestions??
