FA Off Training – Stuck in a slot

I've been dying to share this cause it was so funny (to me anyway). Sorry for my story being long. Flying in an Alliance Chieftain I was practicing FA off at the Scientific Installation in San Tu. I was at the entrance where you have to roll the ship 90 degrees to pass through the slot. I made it more than halfway through when I suddenly got stuck in the slot at the last turn. When I got stuck the ship jolted like I had landed on a pad or something. None of the thrusters worked. I took a peek outside and fired a thruster, nothing happened. No thruster flames or anything. Now, panic started to set in. I'm here alone, in solo mode and nobody knows I'm here. My options started disappearing quickly. So, in desperation, I fired a shot in the station. Then all of a sudden fines started coming in and every cop in the system showed up, including the backup team. My first thought was, Yea! Help has arrived to free me, but NO. So I just sat there for a while thinking any minute one of those cops is going to come in and shoot me. I was right at the exit and I could clearly see the Federal Forces ships looking at me. But they just sat there too. So, I can't get out, even if I could I would not get far with about 40 Federal ships waiting outside. So, I had to blow myself up. After being re-incarnated I still woke up in prison and lost an expensive fully engineered ship. And, No, not enough credits for a re-buy. The moral of this story, practice in a small cheap ship, practice in open where Hull or fuel rats can probably help in a situation like that. And don't shoot at the station, even if you're stuck in it. That only makes matters worse.
