TL;DR THe flea should have a rotating stock on what you can sell every week. One week only weapons and weapon parts. The next week armor and ammo can only be sold. Week after that general goods like bolts and crafting materials.
So with them removing the flea market I found myself doing meds runs again. Finding a good magazine and getting excited to run my AKs I have saved. High powered scope? Looks like I'm running woods!
I say that becauss without the ability to buy what I want and when I want I actially needed to scavange again even at level 63! This got me thinking. I've always been a supporter of removing the flea but realistically that will never happen and with the restrictions this wipe I think everyone agree the game felt "freash" longer than any wipe in recent memory.
Not only will this slow down progression and make people run different kits but things that become worthless a week into wipe will still hold their value. Quest items need to be found or bartered for instead of outright bought. But more importantly the hideout progression will be slowed!
Imo the hideout is one of the strongest things in the entire game. Being able to farm money to buy the parts you need to max it out has always been more important than anything else since it's release beside MAYBE maxing strength/endurance. Without being able to do GPU runs to farm money to buy hideout items you have to actually find them again! Reducing the rate at which you level the hideout will also slow normal leveling progression for the average players at well.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk I'd like peoples feedback on this idea.
