From playing for a while i noticed one thing that most decks apply

witcher triss merigold gwint

You have only 2 options to do that make your deck viable:

  1. Total control, don't let the oponent even start his combos, removal or locks
  2. Absolute pointslams (yes relicts and traveling tridam, im looking at you) that overhelm the oponent

There is no room for longer setups on board, that will get removed. When you try to remove, everything happens in deck where you cant stop it. If you counter anything your oponent does, you win. Or throw in so many safely generated points your oponent can't keep up. Decks without removal or high pointslams don't really have a chance. If the deck requires longer setup for big payoff, it will have a hard time against the current set of decks. Am i missing something here? Is there a secret to deckbuilding that makes medium decks have a chance against current meta?
