I played Puck mid against a TA yesterday and it didn't go as planned. I believe the TA has the advantage and frankly Puck needs some love, but writing a poor match off as "I got out-drafted" is not a great way to progress.
I'd like to find a match where a pro (or anyone in high immortal really) played the same matchup and analyze their approach. So there are two problems to solve:
- Finding the exact matchup in a recent match. Dota2pro tracker shows recent pro matches on the hero, but does not allow me to filter for heroes on the opposing team. Opendota requires me to select a player first and then filter for the matchup. The top Puck player in the world hasn't played the hero in over a year. I need a filter that will filter all immortal+ matches for this matchup and obtain a match id.
- Watching that specific match in the DotA 2 client. I can download a replay from a friend's match by viewing their history, but how do I view the match summary (so I can download the replay) for someone who is not my friend?
