How I tend to beat Kitty Spam

Hello r/Gwent,

Many people seem to be struggling with how to beat Shinmiri2s kitty spam list. I found a somewhat reliable way that got me 5 wins and 1 loss against the deck today. Here is how:

You need Squirrel in your deck. Of course Xavier does it too but Squirrel is enough. Devotion is not an option to beat Kitty Spam unfortunately.

Okay so what you do is you win R1, at any cost. You must win it. No way around that. Commit hard. If you won you push R2 until they use their Witches Sabbath. You then immediately use Squirrel to banish their Witches Sabbath and pass next turn. You'll usually be a card down after this but it does not matter. No res'd Kitties and the deck literally has nothing. Everytime I executed that strategy today I won. With the 1 loss I was unable to win R1 and forfeited. Might as well save yourself the time there.
