So i made a CPU upgade so i decided to install this again. The game is finnaly running at over 60fps which is a miracle but still ridiculous stutters and freezes. RTX 2070, Ryzen 5 3600. ~35% GPU usage, ~40% CPU usage.
But that's just tarkov and Unity, so OK. First game as SCAV, instant headshot through the wall. So well cheats are not uncommon. Second game, immediate headshot through the wall.
So I decided to go offline, I heard they reworked the AI. Raiders classically ran into one corridor where they all got killed, even Glukhar. So pathfinding is unchanged. What amused me, though, is their aim. All I had to do was stick out a one pixel of my helmet and I was getting hit by a scav that was about 200m away. So I tried to wait for them to lose aggro. After 3 minutes of lying down I got up and just as I showed the body pixel again another shot came. I'm not even surprised anymore that players use cheats when the AI does it too and the developers are fine with it.
Why can't they make the AI more human, give them good pathfinding and proper use of cover. Not terminator AIM and wallhack. How long have cheats been in this game? Still no progress on that part, it really makes a bad impression when the first games after installing the game are cheaters. Especially for new players. I'm not a newbie, I have over 800 hours. I'm not gonna even talk about the performace, thats just the oldest issue of this game which will never get fixed.
Not being able to craft them sucks. Especially when everyone I talk to about it…
