Preface: I’m not complaining or mad, just giving thoughts for open discussion.
It seems that every wipe gets to this point where every raid is packed with Chads that know every little thing about each map. I’m not trying to insult people that take the time to learn map knowledge and gain that level of skill, but over time in the wipe it seems to create an imbalance. I’m able to keep my head above water and win a fair amount of firefights, but it seems that as a wipe progresses there’s less and less incentive for new players to try and progress.
In the beginning of a wipe, it’s the best time to play tarkov in my opinion. Everyone is roughly on the same playing field unless you’re a streamer or you absolutely no-life the game. It feels like the game is both packed with new players and experienced players. However, at this point in the wipe I feel like the majority of newer/casual players have quit the game.
What I’d love to see is a way to re-create that feeling of the beginning of the wipe. I’m not sure what that might be, but it’s getting to the point where everyone is using meta gear all the time.
All I’m saying is- I love tarkov and just want to see the game do well and progress in a good direction. But having the game turn into a meta-slave sweat shop seems like a bad move
