When I read the patch notes, I was worried cause there was no direct nerf to Golden Nekker. I was expecting an uproar, especially since the sub was filled with posts on how toxic the GN meta is. But to my surprise, every post seems to think that this patch has addressed the GN meta? Now yes, Aerodight got nerfed and that is in a way a nerf to Nekker, but I seem to be the only one still thinking it's an incredibly toxic card that everyone will still play, and one which limits design space in the future?
I was genuinely surprised to see everyone praising the patch, almost like the Aerodight nerf was going to be the death of Golden Nekker, when the way I see it is still an overpowered card and still needs a full rework.
I'm not making this post to try and tear down people's hopes for the new season, just to understand what I'm missing. Does everyone really think that without Aerondight GN will wither away?
