I just saw a post saying "I can't believe people here are making the devs feel bad on their special day" and when I responded, the guy said "u r delusional" and deleted his post and blocked me. I'm going to post my comment here because I've seen a ton of people thinking they need to defend Valheim for the devs or something. The game is wonderful, but it isn't perfect and that's a good thing.
Comment:
Literally one guy made a post without saying anything negative and there have been like 4 response posts defending Valheim.
Guys. The game is great. The devs are great. Is the content coming really slowly? Yes. Is that okay? Yes. Can you love something and critique it? Yes.
This is common sense man, why is everyone getting so upset about it? The content is coming out too slow. That's not a judgement call on the devs or a personal attack. It's just what's happening. But that is also not a big deal and I will continue to wait and look forward to it, just as much as I did before. I love Valheim and I love the devs, but some people take these critiques way too personally. It's important for the devs to get feedback or nothing ever changes. And I guarantee that their feelings are not hurt over these posts. As someone who writes software, critique is everything and I wish I had more of it. You can want more and still love what you have.
TL;DR: It's okay to not find something you love perfect and you shouldn't be booed and judged for thinking critically instead of being a mindless supporter.
