So I recently went into the mist for the first time and I’m halfway through (or so I feel) within 20ish hours the only significant things I’ve got left to do is craft some of the magic staffs to play about with and kill the queen
Minus the staffs which I’ve not tried and the arbalest everything feels incomplete and underpowered like the armour only gives me +4 fully upgraded (for the moment), the weapons I use (1h sword and shield) come out less powerful than the black metal equivalents (I do plan on playing with the 2h sword so thats a bit of a dmg upgrade) it just doesn’t feel like there’s the sense of progression like there is in the previous biomes apart from the fact we get some new stuff to build/make and combat gets harder I know we get magic and as said I’ve still got to get round to trying it
I’ve seen a lot of posts about mistlands before i got to dip my toes in and there was only 1/2 issues I saw that I agreed with (how restrictive the mist is even with wisp lights/ the up and down of the terrain) until I got the new crafting tables and there wasn’t the same feeling I got when you unlock the first forge of oh hell yeah I can fight properly in this biome, maybe that’s cause I haven’t tried the staffs yet but I must say as of the moment I’m quite disappointed about the weapons other than the fact we get some options for more additional damage effects on them
