Nilfgaard? No thanks

Need an outlet for my frustration, so apologies to Reddit, but FUCK NILFGAARD.

The recent patch and changes has seen power creep, but that's been necessary to make the game more varied. It's still too binary and many idiot players still seem incapable of independent thought meaning META's in the higher ranks are too regular and obvious. But overall there's been some interesting inclusions of late, such as Golden Nekker, etc – it's finally showing improvement in the game.

But…..and it's a fucking massive BUT…..Nilfgaard. What the fuck.

– Didn't quite draw the card you want? That's ok, Nilfgaard will a) play it for you, b) send it to you graveyard or c) banish it entirely. For 6 provisions.

– Want to play a game of cards? Nilfgaard has other ideas. Let's lock/poison/remove/destroy/steal every fucking card you play, because that's fun, right?

– Built a deck of cards to try? Fuck you, because Nilfgaard – that's right, I'm going to repeatedly mill your deck and almost certainly will destroy any hope you had of a) winning, or b) having some kind of fun. Even if you win, it's all down to RNG and whether they got your best cards, or your deal did.

– Looking to play a fair match? Nilfgaard got this shit on lock – we'll copy and play al your best cards against you, ultimately ending in Bribery ALWAYS creating a 11prov+ card for 8 provisions. Every time. Without fail. Nilfgaard doesn't have it's own plan, so let's just play you at your game and see what happens. Result? Death to fun.

– Joachim and Coup de Gras, because NG players don't do independent thought and randomly playing a 12 point unit makes sense, right?

– Yenn:Invocation, because why wouldn't you allow a 9 provision card be stronger than Heatwave, support devotion and support every shitty thing about NG

– Snowdrop/Movran, because what better lore than a NG despot working well with a travelling minstrel? Add in the guarantee that all of the summon cards will play and – hey presto – you have a thinning, tutoring single round play of 32 points (Movran/Snowdrop/Summon from deck combo)

There's considerably more examples, but it's such a shitty, toxic deck, everything about it is fucking rancid. In my opinion, the whole faction needs to be torn down and they should start again. Mill/Clog should be removed from the game, it spoils EVERY game and is just plain wrong. Locking ,stealing units, even spying all makes sense, even if they're just as painful. But please, CDPR, reset NG.

Simple answer for me is – as soon as I see NG opponent, I quit. Ladder isn't important, fun is, so fuck Nilfgaard.
