I’ve seen a lot of people arguing the newer players need a way to kill chads. Guns like the SVT, AVT, RFB of old, and Mosin on its release, were and are pure cheese. The most balanced was probably the RFB. It didn’t negate class 5 and 6 and required well placed shots. What is the justification for you being able to ignore end game armor without a well placed headshot? It’s still possible to drop chads, most helmets are <= c4, which is what most people run ammo to pen consistently.
What doesn’t feel good is when I run a zabralo on factory and die to 900 rpm of 54R BT. 2 teapots and 15k of ammo to delete armor that you need to be at least level 30 to obtain on mechanic 3 iirc. The best gear in the game can be negated for two teapots, so what is the point of progression then. Labs is now just AVT runners because why bring in anything better? There is 42 pen ammo the size of your hand available at level 15, in a gun arguably better than its big brother the SVD. I’m curious what kind of progression these SVT and AVT gamers want in Tarkov, because if you can’t ever counter low tier players, then there’s no point to progress in my opinion. What happened to leg meta and lining up headshots as the new player advice?
