Many water or ammonia based life planets be it ammonia, water, or gas giants, tend to not be worth much in game compared to terraformables and ELW
Would there be a scientific reason for that? it seems the humans of this world are more inclined to wanting resources and terraformable worlds or earth like worlds than they are with oh hey there's possible life on other planets, be it microbes or possible primitive fauna/flora.
Sure there's 'exobiology' stuff now but we cant go and scoop gallons of water, ammonia, or gas off those planets to take to vista genomics. Which is a whole slew of another conversation of why you can find the same plants tens of thousands of LY apart.
But, would there be any scientific or real world reason why we wouldn't care so much about life over terrforming and resources? ELW I get, however, I'd put that over these discoveries too.
