thinking of returning, last played around…I think the Triss or yen journey. what’s changed?

So, haven't played since then. Probably I think early 2020 when COVID caused lockdowns is when I stopped playing, I forget if it was a lack of interest or if the meta was stale as fick. What's all changed? I mainly played Novigrad so how do they fare, Firesworn in particular? I remember they were pretty powercrept by the time I stopped playing, and I think at that time I was running the meme oneiro double salamander with the Blenheim that gained power for each poison.

Also, how drastically has the pace of the game changed? In my time away I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh after a friend got me into duel links which was meh, but I've been enjoying master duel and the pace and everything is so radically different. Is it still pretty slow? I remember almost nothing of the meta and all that.

Any returning advice and what decks to look out for would be appreciated, thanks!
