Anyone else feel this way? I think it’s because running similar builds over and over again, running the same routes to high-traffic areas, gets kind of repetitive.
But going in with just an M-2 tactical sword and a dream, looting every little stash and box looking for a gun or armor to protect yourself from shotgun scavs, meanwhile avoiding thicc chad 3-man squads, still hits kind of different.
Every raid is also different, some raids I get lucky and find a gun right away, others I just find some lightbulbs and am forced to either bum rush a scav to try to loot his gun or sneak my way across the map without getting domed. Makes the game a lot more strategic at this point in the wipe, IMO, rather than just rushing PVP areas every raid.
Maybe this is an idea for future game-types? I know arena is coming, would it be kind of cool to also have a “zero-to-hero” game type, where everyone spawns with either a pistol or minimal gear? Would keep the game interesting indefinitely, I think.
